Order or print 9-1-1 materials
If you live in or serve communities in Metro Vancouver, the Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) or the Squamish and Whistler areas please use our 9-1-1 Public Education materials order form to place your order and we will ship the materials to you. If you live outside our service area please feel free to download and print E-Comm's 9-1-1 materials to use in your communities.
At E-Comm, we have a wide variety of materials available to help educate members of the public on:
- tips how to use 9-1-1 properly
- the difference between an emergency and a non-emergency call
- our interpretation services, which make it possible for us to help callers in more than 170 languages
In January 2010 we also launched new public education materials for children that include:
A storybook (available in six different languages) that focuses on 9-1-1 and interpretation services
A colouring and activity sheet about the difference between emergency and non-emergency calls
magnets, bookmarks, and stickers all featuring Ani and Ali (our 9-1-1 public education ambassadors)
