E-Comm 9-1-1, the emegency communications centre for British Columbia Inc., is located in Vancouver B.C.
- We are the largest 9-1-1 centre in B.C.—responsible for 80% of the province’s 9-1-1 call volume; approximately 1.25 million calls.
- We provide 9-1-1 service for Metro Vancouver, Squamish, Whistler and 18 regional districts spanning from Vancouver Island to the Alberta and U.S. borders, to north of Prince George.
- We provide dispatch service for 33 police and fire departments throughout British Columbia.
- We own and operate the largest multi-jurisdictional, tri-service emergency radio system in the province used by police, fire and ambulance personnel within Metro Vancouver.
